With no money to spend on a christmas gift to my sister last year, I hade to get creative. My sister is a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and movies, so I came up with the idea of making her a Hogwarts-letter. With a hole lot of reachers, I came up with this! I personalized it a little just for my sister, like writhing "IRMA KIRM" (nickname) in the Hogwarts sigil etc. I also printed out owl stamps and wrote the adress we lived on when she was 11. And of course the classic "Blue bedroom. Second floor." Then I made her a wand out of a old painting brush and some magic...
